Ten questions we get most often about Endfield Codex — what this site is, where the artwork comes from, what the tools can and cannot tell you, and how to reach us.
Is this an official site?
No. Endfield Codex is an independent, fan-made strategy site. It has no affiliation with Hypergryph (鹰角网络), Yostar, or any of their partners. We are a few Arknights players doing this in our spare time.
Where does the character art come from?
Every character splash, faction banner, and environment image on this site is fan-imagined concept art, almost all of it generated with AI tools. None of it is official Hypergryph artwork. We label each image as concept art at the point it appears.
When is the tier list going live?
We will not publish a tier list until Arknights: Endfield officially launches and we can play the live build ourselves. Anything claiming to rank Endfield operators before launch is guessing. Once we have real combat data, we will publish a ranking with the methodology written out.
When is the game launching?
Hypergryph has not announced a global launch date as of writing. We do not have insider information. For the latest official news, watch Hypergryph and Yostar channels directly — we will not be first to know.
Are the gacha simulator rates accurate?
They are estimates. The simulator uses rates borrowed from mainline Arknights — 0.8% per pull with a 6% soft pity ramp and a 50-pull hard pity — because Endfield rates have not been published. Treat the simulator as a reference tool, not a real probability calculator.
Can I submit corrections or content?
Yes, please. Translation problems, typos, outdated data, broken layout — any of it. Email privacy@talos2codex.com with subject [General] and a brief note. We read everything, even if we cannot always reply individually.
Does the site collect my data?
No accounts, no comments, no contact forms — and we do not store anything about you on our server. We do enable Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) to see aggregate page-view counts and country-level geography. GA4 sets two cookies (`_ga`, `_ga_XRHY1L8E4R`) but we cannot identify any individual visitor from this data. Full breakdown in /privacy. The gacha simulator state stays only in your browser localStorage and is never sent anywhere.
Why six languages?
Endfield is a global release and its players are spread across regions. We want EN, ZH, JA, KO, ES and VI speakers to be able to read guides in their own language instead of relying on machine translation of a single source.
How is this related to PRTS.wiki or Aceship?
No relation. Those are separate independent fan projects covering mainline Arknights. Endfield Codex only covers Arknights: Endfield. We have a lot of respect for what those communities do.
How do I contact you for takedown or legal issues?
If you represent Hypergryph, Yostar, or any rights holder and need content removed, email privacy@talos2codex.com with subject [Takedown]. We acknowledge within 48 hours and remove or amend content as fast as we reasonably can. We do not argue with rights-holder takedowns.
