Privacy policy
Endfield Codex is a static fan site. We have deliberately kept the privacy story as short and dull as possible: the only data we receive is aggregated traffic counts via Google Analytics 4, with IP anonymization enabled. No accounts, no comments, no contact forms, no newsletter.
What we collect
No server-side data store, no account system, no login, no comment box, no contact form, no newsletter signup. The site is served as static files. We do enable Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymization to see aggregate page-view stats — visitor counts, country-level geography, referrers, browsers. We never see your individual IP or any personal data, and we cannot identify any single visitor.
What is stored in your browser
The gacha simulator stores its own pull state in your browser's localStorage so the page can pick up where you left off. That state never leaves your device. You can clear it any time from your browser settings, and you do not need to give us any information for any feature on the site to work.
Third-party requests your browser may make
When you load a page, your browser contacts two Google services: (1) Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com) to download the typefaces this site uses, and (2) Google Analytics (googletagmanager.com / google-analytics.com) which we use to count page views. Both receive standard request metadata (IP, browser, referrer). We have set GA4 to anonymize IP. If this matters to you, you can block these domains via uBlock Origin / Privacy Badger / your hosts file — the site remains fully functional without them.
Cookies
We do not set any first-party cookies of our own. Google Analytics 4 sets _ga and _ga_XRHY1L8E4R cookies in your browser to distinguish unique visitors over time. These cookies do not contain personal data — only a randomly-generated visitor ID. You can clear them any time via browser settings, or block them entirely via an ad-blocker. Google Fonts does not set cookies for font requests.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not collect any personal data, so we have nothing about anyone, regardless of age.
Updates to this policy
If we ever start collecting anything (we have no current plan to), this page will be updated and the date below will change. Your continued use of the site after that change means you accept the new terms.
