Arknights Endfield Reroll Guide (October 2026)

Should you reroll in Arknights: Endfield? What one run gets you, how the beginner banner works, which 6★ the major guides pick, and account limits.

The facts below were checked on 2026-09-25 against the sources listed at the end of this page. Game updates can change them, so check the in-game screen before you spend. If something no longer matches, tell us.

PCGamesN says the only way to reroll in Arknights: Endfield is to make a new account each time, and Game8 and TheGamer both say the game has no guest accounts. Game8 puts one run at about 20 to 45 minutes; endfield.gg and Dexerto say 30 to 40. Game8 says to stop at the Valley Reboot quest, before the first TP point. By Game8's count (page updated 15 September 2026) you have about 46 pulls at that point. Only 10 of them are for the beginner banner, so a single run won't reach its 40-pull guarantee.

Guides disagree on whether that's worth the time; the case against is at the end of the ranking section. Game8 still keeps a reroll ranking with Pogranichnik and Last Rite at the top. If you do reroll, the short version Game8 describes goes like this: play until Headhunting unlocks, spend what you have, and keep the account if a 6★ you want turns up. Game8, PCGamesN and TheGamer all say there's no need to reroll for Ardelia, who comes free on day 3 of the beginner sign-in. January reroll lists that tell you to chase Laevatain are out of date. That operator wasn't in [Winter Hunt], which closed on 30 September 2026, or in the RE-Factor banner that followed it, and the official notice for [Rejuvenation], the limited banner that opened in mid-October, doesn't list it either.

Is a reroll still worth it in October 2026?

Dreamscape of Wind and Snow was the version live through September and early October 2026. Its maintenance ran on 2 September 2026 on the Asia server and on 1 September (UTC-5) on the Americas / Europe server. The official update notes don't give it a number. "1.5" is the label Game8 uses, and it's the one you'll see in search results. Gryphline's update notes for the next version, [Sanctuary of Ink], are dated 15 October 2026; Game8 calls it Version 1.6.

Most reroll guides near the top of search results were written around the global launch on 22 January 2026. Since then, three things have changed for an account started in September or October 2026:

Laevatain and Gilberta aren't in the banners. Official Chartered notices say a rate-up 6★ is removed from the Chartered list after 3 Chartered banners and "will also not be added to [Basic Headhunting]". Neither Laevatain nor Gilberta was in [Winter Hunt], which closed on 30 September 2026, or in the [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor banner, which closed in mid-October, and the 6★ list in the official [Rejuvenation] notice doesn't include them. Of the limited operators January guides ranked, only Yvonne came back in that stretch, on the RE-Factor banner.
Maintenance compensation isn't for new accounts. The [Sanctuary of Ink] update notes list two compensation mails of 900 Oroberyl each, with the condition "Create a character before the update", the same condition the 1.5 notes used. An account created after the October update (15 Oct Asia / 14 Oct UTC-5 Americas & Europe) doesn't qualify.
Launch-era freebies may not apply. Dexerto's January guide told rerollers to claim pre-registration mail, launch bonuses and early codes right away. No official notice says a new account started in September or October still gets any of those, so don't count on them.

Every reroll needs a new account

PCGamesN's wording is blunt: "The only way to reroll in Arknights Endfield is to create a new account." None of this comes from Gryphline. What its help centre and account terms do say is below.

Pick your server before the first run

There are two server groups: Asia, and Americas / Europe. The official FAQ says account data is not shared between them, but within one server the same account works across PC, Android, iOS and PS5. On PS5 the server is assigned from your PSN account's region and can't currently be chosen by hand. The FAQ doesn't say whether you can move servers later. GameWith (updated 3 March 2026) says there is "currently no way to switch Servers" once you start. Since progress doesn't transfer between servers, pick the one you'll actually play on before the first run.

Emails and linked logins

Guides disagree on Gmail dot addresses. Dexerto recommends them, noting that Gmail "treats dotted addresses as separate logins" while delivering to one inbox. endfield.gg says "Salted emails (adding dots between letters in your Gmail address) do not work on the Endfield registration website." Test it once before relying on it.
If a throwaway email lands a good account, the Gryphline Account Center has a Change Email option. A code goes to the old address, then you enter the new one. The FAQ doesn't mention a cooldown.
The FAQ names Apple, Facebook and Google as third-party logins, and says you can unlink or change them in the Account Center.

Deleting an account is not a quick reset

Gryphline does let you cancel an account, but the help centre describes a 14-day freeze during which you can't log in to any of its apps. After that, all data tied to the Gryphline account, "including data from all games and applications", is permanently deleted. You also can't start a cancellation if you changed your password or linked email, or submitted a cancellation request, in the last 14 days. The FAQ doesn't say whether the same email can be used to register again afterwards.

What the account terms say

The Account Terms of Service (effective 19 January 2026) say you may not "sell, resell, rent, lease, share, or provide access to your Account to any other person", so pre-rolled starter accounts sold online are sold against Gryphline's terms. The terms don't directly address one person holding several accounts.

Where to stop, and how long a run takes

Game8 and GameWith lay out the opening the same way: the "Process: Awakening" prologue, then Chapter I Process I, whose first mission is Break the Siege, followed by Valley Reboot. Break the Siege is also where Chen Qianyu joins; Game8's mission page says "This is where the player can get Chen for free."

The official notices for both open banners set the same entry condition: complete the main mission [Chapter I Process I: Break the Siege]. Beyond that, guides draw the stopping point and the time differently:

What you can spend when Headhunting unlocks

This is where guides differ most, and most of them date from January. Of the four below, only Game8 has been updated since:

Game8 (15 Sep 2026): about 46 pulls, made up of 2,200 Oroberyl (4 pulls), 11 Chartered HH Permits, 1 "Limited Banner HH Permit", 1 New Horizons HH-10× Permit (10 pulls) and 20 Basic HH Permits. Game8 doesn't say where each item comes from or what its "Limited Banner HH Permit" refers to.
Game Rant (23 Jan 2026): Basic 20, Chartered 7, New Horizons 10.
TheGamer (22 Jan 2026): "20 pulls on the Basic Headhunt and one multi for the beginner banner".
Dexerto (21 Jan 2026): "roughly 20 Standard Banner pulls right away".

On which banner to spend first, Dexerto and Game8 point different ways. Dexerto says "Focus on the Standard Banner instead of the Beginner Banner." Game8's step list says "Pull on exclusive banners until you get a 6-star" without naming a specific banner.

How New Horizons works

New Horizons is the beginner banner every new account gets. The Endfield Talos Wiki (edited 24 September 2026) sums it up: it "guarantees one 6★ operator from the standard roster, and a 6★ weapon selector within 40 pulls. Once 40 pulls have been spent and the 6★ weapon selected, the banner disappears from the Headhunting menu."

Who it can give. Game8 and GameWith list the same five: Ember, Lifeng, Ardelia, Last Rite and Pogranichnik. Both pages were last updated in January and February 2026. The wiki only says "standard roster". PCGamesN puts the odds this way: "There's a one-in-five chance to get a specific character, and earning the permits can take several hours."
How you get the permits. Game8 says New Horizons permits "can only be acquired by progressing through the main story". The wiki's beginner reward panel lists 4 New Horizons HH-10× Permits in total, which is the full 40 pulls. Neither source says which missions hand out which permit.
5★ floor. Game8's banner page (updated 28 January 2026) lists a guaranteed 5★ within 10 pulls.
The weapon selector. The New Horizons Weapon Supply holds five 6★ weapons: Oblivion, Sundered Prince, Thermite Cutter, Former Finery and Valiant. Wiki and Game8 give the same list. Game8 notes you can cancel the selection and leave the box in Valuables until you know which weapon your team needs.

By Game8's and TheGamer's counts, a normal reroll gets you one of the four ten-pulls. A 6★ can drop from that ten-pull, but the guarantee is spread over all 40 pulls.

Limited banners open in October 2026

Both September limited banners have closed: [Winter Hunt] on 30 September 2026, and [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting #1 with the [Sanctuary of Ink] version update. That maintenance ran on 15 October 2026, 06:00 to 12:00 on the Asia server (UTC+8), and on 14 October, 17:00 to 23:00 on the Americas / Europe server (UTC-5). Two banners opened with the update, one for operators and one for weapons.

Everything in the table is from the official notices for the two banners. Times are server time. Check the in-game banner page before spending.

The [Sanctuary of Ink] update notes list two more for later in the version: [Ancestral Spring Flows Anew] RE-Factor Headhunting #1, with Tangtang as the rate-up, from 29 October 2026, 12:00, and [The Hearth Fire Beckons the Starry Flow] Chartered Headhunting, with Argent Flow, from 5 November, 12:00 (server time). Game Rant's January guide ranked Laevatain (it spells the name Laevatein), Gilberta and Yvonne as high-priority targets. Of those three, only Yvonne was in a limited banner in late September and October 2026, the [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor one, and it has closed. games.gg's January guide also named Laevatain as its first pick. If a reroll guide you're reading still leads with launch limited operators, check its date.

Pity numbers, and who actually states them

Many of the headline numbers come from the wiki and guide sites. This page compares them with five official posts: the [Winter Hunt] and [Rejuvenation] notices, the RE-Factor #1 notice, and the two DEV Comms (17 January and 22 August 2026). None of the five publishes drop rates, and neither Chartered notice mentions 80, 120 or 50% at all. Treat anything marked wiki or Game8 below as their reading, and check the in-game [Headhunting] rules page before spending.

The "6★ within 80" line in the official DEV Comm sits in the RE-Factor section. Neither the [Winter Hunt] nor the [Rejuvenation] notice repeats it, so on a limited banner the 80 comes from the wiki.

Where sources contradict each other:

Does the Chartered 80 count carry to the next limited banner? The wiki says yes, and Game8's pity page says the same. A Fextralife page last edited on 7 January 2026, before launch, says "your 6-Star Operator guarantee does not roll over to future Chartered Banners". None of the five official posts addresses it.
Does Yvonne's 120 count carry over? The official RE-Factor notice says it can trigger only once across all [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor banners, and "Attempts toward this guarantee will carry over to future [Resplendent Spectrum] RE-Factor Headhunting banners." Game8's Yvonne page (updated 24 September 2026) has three statements that don't agree with each other: that progress carries to the next RE-Factor banner, that only the 80 count transfers while the 120 resets, and that the count resets when the banner expires.
None of the sources on this page says whether the Basic and Chartered 80 counts are shared, or whether Chartered and RE-Factor counts are linked.

Which standard 6★ the reroll guides pick

This site doesn't publish its own reroll ranking. The table shows what each guide says about the five standard 6★ operators, which Game8 and GameWith list as the five New Horizons can give. Class, element and weapon are from the Endfield Talos Wiki. The official operator page doesn't show rarity, so the 6★ label comes from the wiki too.

The reasons they give, in their own words:

Pogranichnik. Game8: "Core unit for Physical teams with decent damage and supporting capabilities." Game Rant: "applies Breach and restores SP; perfect for Physical teams".
Last Rite. Game8: "Highly recommended to reroll for if players are looking for a strong DPS unit." Game Rant calls it "the best DPS unit among the five standard banner characters".
Lifeng. Game8: "Excels in sustainless Physical teams with his Vulnerable stacks and Physical Susceptibility." Game Rant gives no reason.
Ember. Game8: "Primarily a sustain unit for Physical teams but is heavily overshadowed by Ardelia." Game Rant rates Ember "for team-wide shielding and healing for the controlled Operator".
Ardelia. Game8: "Players can acquire Ardelia for free via log-in. Not recommended to reroll for."

Where they agree: Game8, PCGamesN and TheGamer all put Ardelia last. Their reason is reroll value. TheGamer calls Ardelia "arguably the best character on the standard banner", and Game8's general tier list (updated 24 September 2026, rating strength rather than reroll value) puts Ardelia in S. Game Rant's January list put Ardelia in its High group, citing "applying Corrosion and Physical Susceptibility to many enemies at once".

Where they split: Lifeng and Ember. Game8 has them level at A and TheGamer puts Lifeng one place higher, while PCGamesN rates Ember A and Lifeng B, and Game Rant has both at Medium.

Some guides question the whole exercise. endfield.gg says "For most players, rerolling isn't worth the time investment" and "A single strong character won't carry you without proper team synergy." PCGamesN's verdict is that "rerolling in Arknights Endfield isn't worth it". On the limited banner specifically, TheGamer says "you'll maybe get a ten-pull after spending over an hour in it".

Free without rerolling

Before deciding a run is bad, count what every account gets anyway.

Starting operators

The wiki lists four starting operators: the Endministrator (6★ Guard, Physical, Sword, the player character), Perlica (5★ Caster, Electric, Arts Unit), Chen Qianyu (5★ Guard, Physical, Sword) and Wulfgard (5★ Caster, Heat, Handcannon). The wiki also lists Perlica, Chen Qianyu and Wulfgard in Basic Headhunting, so you may pull extra copies of them later. The full list is on the operator index.

Awakening Sign-In (14 days, permanent)

Game8 lists this as a permanent beginner sign-in that starts once the Event Center unlocks: "log into the game for 14 days". According to the wiki's day-by-day table:

Day 3: Ardelia (as an Employment Contract), plus 16 Protodisks.
Day 10: the 6★ weapon Dreams of the Starry Beach, plus 10 Arms INSP Sets.
Days 1, 2, 4 to 9 and 11 to 14: one Chartered HH Permit each, 12 in total.

Game8's table matches the wiki for days 1 to 7. The wiki's Event page was last edited on 17 August 2026, before the September update, so check the in-game Event Center.

The beginner reward panel

The wiki's table for the New Horizons Giveaway EXPO Panel (same page, same edit date) lists these rows:

The wiki gives two versions of the Authority Level permits. Its Event page (edited August 2026) puts 10 at each of levels 5, 15, 25 and 35; its Authority Level Rewards page (edited March 2026) lists 10 Basic HH Permits each at levels 8, 15, 20 and 30. Go by the in-game Authority Level Rewards list. Either way, most of those rewards arrive well after the point where rerollers stop.

Other sign-ins

SKPORT web sign-in. Game8 lists the SKPORT web sign-in, on Gryphline's community site, as permanently available, and says logging in there for the first three times gives 300 Oroberyl in total. This is Game8's account; check the SKPORT sign-in page for the current reward.
October 2026's limited sign-in. The official [Rejuvenation] notice lists the [Spirit's Restoration] Limited-Time Sign-In: "Sign in for a total of 7 days to earn rewards such as [Spirit's Restoration HH Permit]×5." The [Sanctuary of Ink] update notes put its end at 5 November 2026, 11:59 (server time). Neither post gives a day-by-day split. The [Rejuvenation] notice adds: "You can also exchange for [Spirit's Restoration HH Permit] at a discount in [AIC Quota Exchange]." September's [Fletched Irontip] sign-in, which the wiki and Game8 dated 2 to 30 September 2026, has ended.

What's not in this guide

Redeem codes. Neither Gryphline's news page nor the wiki keeps a list, so none are copied here. Game8 says codes go in Settings → Platform & Account → Exchange Code.

If you've seen a 50-pull beginner guarantee or Perlica listed as a 6★ rate-up, neither matches the wiki: New Horizons guarantees its 6★ within 40 pulls, and Perlica is a 5★ starting operator.
