Answers to common questions about Endfield Codex — what this site is, where the artwork comes from, what the tools can and cannot tell you, and how to reach us.
Is this an official site?
No. Endfield Codex is an independent, fan-made strategy site. It has no affiliation with Hypergryph (鹰角网络), GRYPHLINE, or any of their partners. We are two editors, both Arknights players, doing this in our spare time.
Where does the character art come from?
All art on this site is fan concept art. None of it is official Hypergryph artwork. We label each image as concept art at the point it appears.
Is there a tier list?
Not at the moment. Our earlier rankings were not based on checked data and have been removed; the "By rarity" page only groups checked operators by rarity. We will only publish a ranking if we can write out how it was made.
When did the game launch?
Arknights: Endfield released on 22 January 2026 for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5 and Windows. The current version, "Dreamscape of Wind and Snow" (numbered 1.5 by third-party trackers such as Game8), went live on 2 September 2026 (UTC+8; the evening of 1 September on Americas/Europe servers, UTC-5) according to the official update notes. We do not have insider information — for official news, watch the official Arknights: Endfield site and channels directly.
Where do the gacha simulator rates come from?
From the Endfield Talos Wiki and community data (Game8, PCGamesN): 0.8% base chance for a 6★, +5% per pull after 65 pulls without one, a guaranteed 6★ on pull 80, a 50% chance that a 6★ is the rate-up operator, and the rate-up guaranteed by pull 120 once per banner. The official Chartered banner notices do not publish percentages and refer players to the in-game [Headhunting] screen; the official notice for the new RE-Factor banner type does state the 80-pull and 120-pull guarantees. Treat the simulator as a planning aid and check the in-game rules before spending.
Can I submit corrections or content?
Yes, please. Translation problems, typos, outdated data, broken layout — any of it. Email [email protected] with subject [General] and a brief note. We read everything, even if we cannot always reply individually.
Does the site collect my data?
We have no accounts or forms. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization for aggregate page-view counts; see the privacy page. The gacha simulator state stays only in your browser localStorage and is never sent anywhere.
Why six languages?
Endfield is released worldwide and its players are spread across regions. The operator pages, the two gacha tools, the FAQ and the legal pages each have an EN, ZH, JA, KO, ES and VI version, so you can check rates and operator data in your own language instead of running one source through machine translation.
How is this related to PRTS.wiki or Aceship?
No relation. Those are separate independent fan projects covering the original Arknights. Endfield Codex only covers Arknights: Endfield. We have a lot of respect for what those communities do.
