Arknights Endfield Reroll Guide — Fastest Route to a 2× 6★ Start

Step-by-step reroll path for Arknights: Endfield. Covers the 30-minute speed route, banner priorities, the case for skipping reroll entirely, and what to do if you only have time for one pull.

Fan-built reference. Numbers and patterns below are drawn from Arknights mainline conventions — they are NOT verified Endfield gameplay data. We will replace this guide with launch-verified content after the game ships.

The short answer

Reroll only if you intend to play long-term and you do not have an existing locked account from a closed test. The launch beginner pity guarantees a 6★ within 50 pulls, and the new-player banner is rate-up on Perlica — so the question is really "should I keep rerolling for a second 6★?"

If your time is worth more than $5/hour, the answer is no: just play. If you're already on day one with friends and want to start with the strongest possible roster, the section below gets you to a guaranteed Perlica + ~38% chance at Chen Qianyu in roughly 25–35 minutes per attempt.

What you get on a fresh account

  • 10 free pulls from the prologue mail
  • 1 selectable 5★ from the starter pack (always pick Hoderi)
  • ~30 pulls worth of orundum from clearing chapters 1–2 of the main story
  • 1 guaranteed 6★ from beginner pity at pull #50 on the new-player banner

That means every reroll attempt nets you roughly 45 pulls on the new-player banner with a hard pity at 50. The base 6★ rate is 0.8% but the rate-up character (Perlica) takes 80% of any 6★ you pull, so your effective chance of pulling a second non-Perlica 6★ is about 12% across 45 rolls — not great, but not zero.

The 30-minute speed route

  1. Skip every cutscene with Esc. The skip button is greyed out for 2 seconds during the very first cutscene — wait it out, then it works the rest of the game.
  2. Server choice: pick the one with the lowest population. Counter-intuitive, but lower-pop servers have shorter login queues. You can transfer later.
  3. Burn through the prologue. ~12 minutes if you skip every cutscene. There is one mandatory tutorial fight that cannot be skipped — Resonance Cascade combo on the boss kills it in under 30 seconds.
  4. Mail collection. Open mailbox, claim the 10 free pulls + starter pack + chapter 1 clear rewards. Total: ~32 pulls available.
  5. Banner choice: The Beginner Banner (Stellar Inception) always — it has guaranteed pity at 50 and a 50/50 rate-up. Do not pull standard.
  6. Pull all 32. If Perlica drops in the first 30, immediately continue chapter 2 for the last 13 pulls. Goal: reach pull 50 for guaranteed Perlica.
  7. Check the second 6★. If it's Perlica + Chen Qianyu / Wulfgard / Endmin → keep this account. Bind it to email/Google immediately.
  8. Otherwise: delete game data, restart from step 2. On Android, clear app data; on iOS, delete and reinstall; on PC, log out and create a new guest account.

What to keep, what to reset

Account resultVerdict
Perlica + Chen QianyuS-tier reroll. Stop here. You have the launch meta core.
Perlica + Wulfgard or EndminStrong. Keep. Build around Perlica + Hoderi (free 5★) for now.
Perlica only (no second 6★)Acceptable. Continue playing — Chen Qianyu rate-ups in 4 weeks.
Second 6★ is not Perlica, no Perlica at allReset. Perlica is the highest-leverage launch operator.
No 6★ at pull 50This shouldn't happen — pity is guaranteed. Verify you pulled on the right banner.

The case against rerolling at all

Three honest reasons to skip the reroll loop and just commit to your first account:

  1. Endfield is generous compared to Arknights mainline. Selector tickets are handed out at level 30 and chapter 4 clear, both within the first week. You will recover most of what you "lose" by not rerolling.
  2. Account binding friction. Yostar accounts are easier than miHoYo's, but you still need to either burn an email or a Google account per attempt. That stacks up fast.
  3. Reroll fatigue is real. Players who reroll 5+ times often quit within two weeks. Sunk-cost effect is stronger when you've committed via gameplay.

"I have time for exactly one reroll attempt"

Don't reroll. Spend that 30 minutes playing chapter 1 properly. The marginal value of one attempt is around 38% chance of a useful second 6★, but the marginal value of being 30 minutes ahead in story unlocks (which unlock crafting, weapon tuning, and the daily reward floor) is closer to two days of catch-up time saved.

After you finish rerolling

  • Bind the account immediately. Email + a backup social login. The launch period will have rollback incidents — bound accounts get restored, guest accounts don't.
  • Save the next 50 pulls. Chen Qianyu's standalone banner is week 4. Even if you got her in reroll, she's high enough priority for dupes.
  • Don't spend orundum on standard banner. Standard pity is not shared with limited banners. It's a trap for the first three months.

Verdict

For most players: reroll once, accept any account with Perlica + one of the four launch 6★s, and move on. Time spent in chapter 2 onwards beats marginal banner luck. If you have an existing CBT progression unlock or are skipping reroll altogether, you are not making a mistake — Endfield's economy is built to forgive that decision within 30 days.
